In 2009, with a love for Jimmy Buffet, Tropical Music and Island life, Koz and Pam joined a Parrot Head Club. Their first MOTM was full of new musical artists and lots of great folks. Koz was in heaven with each stage playing his style of music. The four day event came and went so fast that he forgot to purchase some artists Cds. He looked high and low all over the island, but no Trop Rock Cds could be found. Once again the ocean tides changed again for Koz when he talked to Howie Livingston. Koz told Howie “Once MOTM was over, everyone left and their Cds too“. Howie was willing to listen and help by sending Koz to see a friend that goes by Cinderella, stating “she will hook ya up”.To solve this problem, Koz still making history – Started selling Trop Rock Artists Cds right out of his Green World Gallery in Key West. The Gallery has the largest Trop Rock Artist Cd selection on the island and it’s a great spot where you can see Artists perform live once a year during MOTM.
During the week of MOTM, Koz lays out a venue for Trop Rock Artist to stop in and play for 45 minutes in the store, providing folks with a personal listening experience with the artist. Pam servers up some great pastries and awesome mimosa. Koz has found his love of two worlds, art and music, that come together under one roof and he’s getting to live on an island.
Koz’s big heart finally caught up with him as one more person (DJ Jeff) presented him with a picture frame shadow box of the first Cd cover off the press with Koz‘s art work as the cover, with cd and a nice word plate in it. Tears were seen as hugs were exchanged between DJ Jeff, Jimi Pappas and Koz.DJ Jeff went on to tell Koz and Pam “you are so wonderful to donate, help and give so much to charities and causes.” “We take care of our own” – Like DJ Jeff said “We are one big Family glad your apart of mine”. Koz and Pam, I personally want to Thank You for all the stories and inviting us into your Wonder World of Adventure. Thank you both so much for all ya’ll do.

DJ Jeff Allen from Beach Front Radio is a cancer survivor. This tribute video is to you Parrot Heads that has taken the phrase, “Party with a Purpose,” to levels that most certainly exceeded the hopes of our original founders. The work that all the Parrot Heads have done have touched countless lives and DJ Jeff can attest to that personally. To hear how you have helped other, all he can say is you have overwhelmed him and humble him through your notes, prayers and giving to the DJ Jeff fund. We here at Beach Front Radio are giving back with this album “Taking Care of Their Own,” with all profits going to the Finns to the West DJ Jeff “Taking Care of Our Own” fund. The funds have helped him enormously and will now go to helping fellow cancer victims.
