Sam’s Nashville produced album “Vacation Location” was key in Sam being nominated for the Trop Rock Horizon Award. It features 17 original Trop Rock songs encompassing everything from the Laid Back Lifestyle of “Vacation Location” and “Tiki Bar in My Backyard” through Beach Country songs “401Keg” and “Daylight Dolphin Time” through Caribbean themed “Add Money Repeat” and “Irie-Sponsible” to the Blues in “Quarter Past Heartache” and the “Too Much Blues”. Along the way enjoy some pure fun finding square grouper in “Sea Weed” and visiting a Trailer Park in Mexico. Michael Lopez of the Phoenix New Times says “this album screams Parrot Head, and the music sure as hell didn’t disappoint”.
