Chris Rehm

Chris Rehm is a B.M.I. songwriter, based in Key West. His newest release “Shanghai’d and Marooned in Key West (things could be worse)” is a CD which covers ten songs, in ten different genres, all based one way or another, in or about the Florida Keys/Conch Republic. Eighteen of Key West’s finest musicians contributed to the work, which even before it’s formal release, is getting excellent reviews from the record industry across the country. All of the genres in the CD are in the styles of the music he’s heard in the Keys, since he started coming here in 1978. Collectively, this music falls into the Conch Rock category and most, in the Trop Rock category as well. Chris is published by McClure & Trowbridge Nashville, and was one of four locally based songwriters to be invited by BMI Nashville, to perform his work at the 2011 Key West Songwriter’s Festival. His next release “All The Best From Key West” is due out late summer/early fall.
