Pamela Campbell and Steve Koz Koslowski Pamela Campbell & Steve “Koz” Koslowski, The Owners
Koz is both an artist and co-owner of the Gallery.  Through his art, Koz takes us on a whimsical adventure under the sea and to tropical paradises. His canvases explode with vibrant colors as he portrays fish, sea horses, crabs, mermaids, reef life and palm trees. He is recognized by the “fun” that he creates in his art and the “smiles” that he brings to those that view it. Pamela and Koz live in Ortonville, Michigan. They split their time between their home in Michigan and the Gallery in Key West, FL, with regular trips to Jamaica, where they have deep ties to the community.   Read the story behind Green World Gallery.

I grew up in Michigan and I’m married to artist Noelle Rose, also from Michigan.  I was a real estate investor and machine designer, doing work for the big three automotive companies for 30 years.  Noelle and I stepped off a cruise ship into Key West back in February 2000. We both fell in love with the island immediately (weather, art, live music, friendly people, etc).  We purchased a home on Big Pine Key in 2003, planning to snow bird and eventually retire in the Keys.  With the economics in Michigan 2009 came some rough patches (job layoff, home value downturns).  Now for the positive store, our friends opened Green World Gallery in Key West and offered Noelle and myself a fantastic new lifestyle, for which we will always be grateful, working and living in paradise.

Noelle’s love for palm trees, bright blue skies, bright sunshine and aqua oceans, brought her to the Keys on vacation.  It was then she knew that was where she wanted to live, now residing in Big Pine Key.  Noelle is a self taught artist whose whimsical palm trees reflect the charm of the Caribbean.  These beautiful trees are hand made using recycled coffee bean bags from various islands of the West Indies and come in different colors and heights.  They will bring the outdoors in.  Noelle helps run the store with her husband (and Store Manager) Danny Kapson.

I was raised in small town, Ortonville, MI.  My husband and I are now raising our  two children in the same town.  Some of my favorite things to do are spending time with my family, camping, arts & crafts, messing with photography, and of course vacationing in sunny Florida! I have always enjoyed art and achieved several art awards throughout my schooling, so when invited to join the exciting adventure of Green World Gallery, I of course jumped right on board!

I reside in a small town in Michigan with my totally awesome husband of forty years.  We are both semi-retired and share our home with our two cats and a parrot.  I have a huge respect and appreciation for all forms of art.  Myself, I enjoy tole and decorative painting, reading, quilting, knitting, crochet and other forms of needlework.  However, my favorite interest is our son and granddaughter.  Family and friends are most important to us and we enjoy spending lots of time with them.  With a background in office management, I am enjoying my work and relationship with Green World Gallery and all the great people involved in it.

Jess Drenth, Green Consultant
I am passionate about helping sustainable businesses succeed. For the past few years, I have worked as a Green Business Coach and Online Marketing Consultant for businesses located across the US. When I first learned about Pam and Koz’s visionary idea to blend art, the environment, and giving back to charity, I was deeply inspired. In 2009 I became their Green Coach, where our goal was to make Green World Gallery’s store and full product line as environmentally-friendly as possible. When the opportunity arose to help them design and write content for their website, I was thrilled to play an even larger role in their business. I live and work in Minneapolis, MN, where you can find me rock climbing, hiking, or kayaking if I’m not busy on my computer.

I have traveled all over the United States and found myself loving the peacefulness and tranquility that the Keys offered and decided to stay. Raised in a small town in Ohio I knew this would be like home, but with the beauty of the ocean. I went to college in Key West and graduated with an Associate Science in Computer IT. My desire was to be involved in web design and when I was told about the position available here I knew this was right up my alley. I have always had a eye for art and I knew doing something that would contribute to the art world would make me feel right at home.
