The Seaside Cottage
The Cottage is completely self-contained, with its own entrance and small garden, located on the sea. Downstairs is spacious (366 sq.ft/34 sq.m) and houses the fully equipped kitchen with wall safe, living area with dining table, sleeping alcove with single/day-bed, bathroom with in/outdoor shower, and the water heater.
Terracotta tiles and wicker furniture are attractive and functional, while the walls are adorned with part of Peter & Annabella’s eclectic art & craft collection. The 24′ x 9′ (7.3 x 2.7 m) veranda boasts 2 hammocks, 2 chairs and another dining table.
The bedroom (330 sq.ft/31 sq.m), accessed by an external staircase, has an Indian feel with a view that is 100% Caribbean. There is a king-sized bed, sitting area, small balcony and shower room. A flat-panel LCD television carries 100+ TV and 60+ radio channels.
Rumors that, on a clear day, you can see Cuba remain unconfirmed, although it does appear possible. Ceiling fans and the trade winds provide all the necessary cooling.
The garden has a cliff side deck with bench for relaxing sundowners. Steps lead down to a grotto, where the kayaks are kept, and on to a bridge and more steps.
