Our friends, Peter and Annabella Proudlock, the owners of Harmony Hall, rent two cottages- Garden Cottage and Seaside Cottage- on the beautiful north shore of the Caribbean Sea. These cottages are next to the Proudlock’s own private home and give guests a rare insider’s view of life in Jamaica.The cottages are completely self-contained, located on the sea and just one mile from the center of Ocho Rios. There are grocery stores and a butcher within easy walking distance. Attractions, restaurants and nightlife are nearby.

Both cottages have access to the sea 30’ below by a beautiful coral staircase. A shallow swimming area (3-4’ deep) is adjacent to the reef, which provides interesting snorkeling. A remarkable “blue hole” is a few hundred yards offshore.

This beautiful paradise is where Koz gets the inspiration for much of his work.

The Seaside Cottage

The Cottage is completely self-contained, with its own entrance and small garden, located on the sea. Downstairs is spacious (366 sq.ft/34 sq.m) and houses the fully equipped kitchen with wall safe, living area with dining table, sleeping alcove with single/day-bed, bathroom with in/outdoor shower, and the water heater. Terracotta tiles and wicker furniture are attractive and functional, while the walls are adorned with part of Peter & Annabella’s eclectic art & craft collection. (See More Photos..)

The Garden Cottage

The Cottage is completely self-contained, with its own entrance, located on the sea, one mile (1.6 km) from the centre of Ocho Rios. The spacious (720 sqft/66.5 sq.m.) cottage consists of 5 12’x12’ modules – one each for the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, while the living area occupies two, plus a 12’x12’ deck. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a full range of appliances and utensils. The living area includes a single daybed, with the deck hosting al fresco lunches and starlit dinners.
